Una iniciativa de paz organizada desde Jordania
The 2012 World Interfaith Harmony Week is back and picking up a ton of steam with nearly a dozen events being added daily over the past week. We are on pace to have even more events then last year, continuing the great progress that was made last year.
Events are being held in over 30 countries on 6 continents at places as varied as places of worship, schools, community centers, hospitals, stadiums, the United Nations, House of Lords, various Parliaments and so many more.
People of all faiths are taking the initiative and are hosting an amazing number of creative and inspiring events ranging from cultural exhibitions, lectures, panel discussions, workshops, film viewing, official launches of new interfaith organizations, book discussions, tributes, celebrations, children's storytime events, an Occupy Faith gathering, conferences ranging from 2 days to a few weeks, as well as dozens of interfaith breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
Communities are organising events and meeting for the first time and forming organizations to promote harmony and many are already discussing how to make 2013's WIHW a greater success both locally and globally.
For now we just urge you to visit our events listing page to find and event nearby and attend an event so that you can meet with others who are actively promoting harmony and get the ball rolling for future activities.
